It should be no surprise that leaks about a new Call Of Duty have surfaced.
After the huge success of Call Of Duty World War 2, which generated over 1 billion dollars; it would seem that going back to there roots was a smart choice.
However, with a three-year rotation cycle of developers, things do become shaken up and chances have to be taken.
Developers Treyarch, best known for there highly regarded Call Of Duty Black Ops series, have been given the reigns; and it would seem that we are getting another Black Ops, if rumours are to be true.
Twitter Leaked By Industry Insider
Although, we don’t have much information at this point; there was a tweet from a man named “Marcus Sellars”, whom is apparently an “Industry Insider” according to his Twitter bio.
Sellars has been right about previous rumours in the past, involving various Nintendo Switch additions and gaming ports that many people had no idea were actually happening.
He writes in a post that “COD 2018 is Black Ops 4 and is coming to PS4/Xbox/PC/Switch. It is set in the modern times and is boots on the ground. The Switch version will support DLC, HD Rumble and motion controls. The Switch version is also being ported by a company which is familiar with COD games.”
He provides a lot of detail into the Switch version, helping me to believe that this leak is true. We will have to wait and see if it is confirmed, however no official response has been issued by Treyarch or Activition.
